Ground Down, Get Down is PLAYTE's recipe for starting the year off right—our take on the coffee rave that's been energizing cities everywhere–a morning that combines sound bath meditation, beats on vinyl, nourishing bites, and dancing in the kitchen.
Ground yourself in a 30-minute sound bath led by Courtney Summers, then spend the rest of the morning moving to vinyl beats, sipping specialty java from Cute Coffee, savoring bites from PLAYTE, and exploring non-alcoholic beverages from Decant Napa.
This is for anyone in Napa who wants to lean into movement and connection to kick off the year. Dress in whatever makes you want to move. No agenda. Just good vibes, good people, and the freedom to dance however you want. Come for the whole thing or drop in when it works for you after 10:30am.

Doors open to everyone (with ticket). Vinyl beats courtesy of Cute Coffee. Coffee bar, non-alcoholic beverage bar, and PLAYTE bites available for purchase. Free-flow dancing, connection, and high-vibe energy until noon.

Sound Bath with Courtney Summer is a sound healing practitioner whose journey has come full circle. Before moving to California four years ago, she practiced sound healing and yoga in the Dallas–Fort Worth area while also working as a private chef. Her time in California opened new doors, deepened her appreciation for wine, and offered space for exploration, but ultimately guided her back to what first grounded her: the healing arts. Returning to sound has been a return to herself, a reconnection with the practices that supported her growth, transformation, and joy. Today, she shares her sound healing work as an offering rooted in renewal, intention, and coming home to one’s true self.
